The night was chilly, though not nearly as bad as it had been. It was a quiet still night, with a sense of baited breath as if it to waited the coming of spring and all that it entitled. Under normal circumstances Mythril would have been ecstatic at the season change for spring meant the flourishing of plant life, and in this new land there would be so much to discover as well as rediscover. But the joy had yet to find the pale snow white creature with ash dusted fur. She has sat much to long enjoying her conversation with Laurel, and her raccoon companion, Rocket. Twisted flesh cramped and tightened from its lack of use, and the supply of the plant she chewed on to full the pain had diminished to nothing.
Those steps were slow, deliberate, drawn out in a particular motion that lengthen that single limbs stride. It was a type of exercise that had been forced upon her in the human world, but forced or not it was an effective action that kept the damaged limb limber and functional. Still it annoyed her to have to resort to a human trained tactic in order to ease her suffering. Forward that leg stretched until it was nearly parallel with her stationary form holding it steady for several heartbeats. Then in a slow sweep she would pull it back extending it completely along her ribcage pointing towards her tail, holding that for several heartbeats. Repeat again and again for several long minutes. While the pain was intense, enough that her jaw clenched tightly to keep the whine from slipping free, she still endured until the end. Once she set her paw against the earth once more the relief was more then apparent in her expression.
Taking a deep spreading breath those pale moons cast themselves around the cave entrance. She had tucked herself completely out of the way, in a secluded little area so she would not be noticed while she worked her shoulder and loosened the scar tissue.
