Take my flesh,
Here's to goodbye.
The steam of the water rose high, swirling in clouds as they wavered to reach the high clouds. Naomi watched this from a distance before stretching that body forward. Youth clung to her every moment and it easy to get off the ground and going at a trot in seconds even though she was a bit sore from all the travel she had done. She held her dome quite high, forward as those deep blues orbs viewed the world around her. That logical expression stayed written all over her face with the viewing and before she knew it, Naomi had come to the arrival of the springs. The warmth radiated off, making her breath in sharply to enjoy it as it came into her lungs. Her pelt, rather dirty, needed to be cleaned of the ocean salt stink that had been following around with her.
Stepping one paw into the water, Naomi sighed deeply before striding in more completely. The warm water lapped at her reddish fur, loosening the dirt that would sink below. The more cleaner smell of the water changed the ocean stink, replacing it with something much more desirable. Her slender limbs propelled her forward through the water, gliding through it before doing a complete circle and coming back to the bank. It was there she dragged herself up and plopped on the ground with a heaving sound and then a dull thud. Another heavy breath escaped her as Naomi shut her eyes for a moment. It felt good to be comfortably warm and relatively clean for a bit. Finally, the four ivory socks that came up her limbs were pearly with color, no longer off shade with dirt and grim.
Feeling a bit rubbery, Naomi decided that she would lay by the bank a few moments longer before forcing herself up get up and then move into a den to catch some sleep. The sun was quite bright today, shinning down on all that it made green. The sky was a baby blue without a single cloud, expect for the wavering steam. She admired this for a few moments before chuckling at herself for being so emotional, or what she found emotional. Growling with annoyance, she drug herself up and then went up the small bank before sitting on the earth. She was soaking, now. Her fur pressed against her underweight body where the ribs protruded from their place. Naomi shook off quietly, sending water flying in every direction. She then promptly found a large slab of rock and laid out her damp body to dry in the sun. Those deep blues went unseen as she closed her orbs and drifted off.
