Frost had settle deep within the pelt of the lone creature meandering through the mountain pass. Ice had formed deep within heart and bones, isolating the creature from the world surrounding her. Long ago her mind had began wandering, racing, praying. The canine's mind had been made up, and none would be deterring her from the ultimate goal. Even the slick terrain beneath her paws could not prevent the femme from traversing it. The war god would be located, even if it proved to be the death of her. It was not so much the cold that had bothered this female, as much as the bitter rain had. The sky had opened up and poured the overwhelming amount of tears that it had been holding for so long. Nashira's soul nearly seemed to split itself open, perhaps Mother Nature was shedding the tears that the femme truly could not. Emotional responses were not something that the female would exhibit. Control over one's mind was vital if one intended to survive in a harsh world such as this.Bleeding white butterflies
Casually the Mexican femme brought herself to a halt, the abruptness of it nearly caused a small wipe out. 'That would be quite the entrance,' a small chuckle escaped the femme's frozen lips as she entertained the thought passing through her skull. 'Not exactly the entrance I had in mind,' a soft grin exposed itself for a mere second before she shoved it away. Her back arched slightly in a leisurely stretch before she gave her side a much needed scratch. Since the arrival onto Anikira the femme had not spent too much time relaxing, most of it had been hunting. Not merely hunting for food either. How long had it been since this female began her quest? At the moment she could not recall the initial beginning, nor notice if their would ever be an ending either. All seemed to blend together. Ears quivered and a glassy gaze took in the lands that were opening up at the base of the mountains. "At last," relief escaped alongside her sigh. The hike through the mountains had not been the most pleasant, although she had distracted herself for most of the journey. These travels proved to be an excellent opportunity to think.Older ghosts than you and me
The sun was seated high amongst the clouds now, for she had comforted them. Sun had chased the tears far from this terrain, for the time being at least and Nashira was thankful for the warm rays now beating against her. One could only have such a dreary walk for so long before it became mundane. Slowly the femme continued her way into the pack terrain, surely the obvious marking had not passed her nostrils; yet, something made her believe she would find him here. The younger femme surely carried a message for the brute should she ever find him, and hopefully he would be receptive to hearing it. An image of such a deity had been engraved upon the femme's brain, and it would be difficult to accept much else. After all, the entirety of her life was built beneath his shadow of power and nobility. Assuming one could call the blood that stained his paws noble.Listen to the whispering
The sensation of comfort swelled within her frame, and Nashira could not quite resist the urge to sit and relax for a moment. Warmth was beginning to unfreeze the ice growing within her chest, permitting her to take a breath. 'What if I finally do meet him?' a tinge of nervousness cascaded across her being. 'What if he despises me finding him?' the femme nearly snorted with laughter. How could the brute be upset with someone searching for him so avidly. The longing to train under such a warrior nearly consumed Nashira's life, it would be an honor that would give her life purpose. Well, more purpose than it had now. Reclining to her haunches, the femme curled her fluffy tail close to her body. On occasion the tip would wiggle just the slightest, giving her stoic appearance a bit more life to it. The femme remained slightly alert even though her mind was racing along tracks that seemingly would lead to nowhere. Where do I go from here?'Whisper to the listening
