Kyra had fallen into a deep rut. It terrified her greatly, and she wished nothing more than to be saved. After leaving her family many months ago, she found herself part of the Ryala pack, a place where she had found solace in the fact that the alphess was also blind. But Aries had disappeared, causing the pack to crumble. Kyra was aware the pack had been reformed under the command of the red brute Rasalas, but her heart had ached at the loss of Aries. She then ventured north, joining the Amar pack nestled within the Oriens. And that pack, too, disappeared into nothing. The days that had followed Kiddo’s disappearance were mortifying for the young femme. The others had searched some for Kiddo, but had found nothing. Upon returning, a new pack was formed from the ashes of Amar. Zakur, under the command of a femme Kyra hadn’t met. In fact, Kyra hadn’t truly met any of the pack members. She had felt out of place among the Amar wolves, and had rarely ventured from Kiddo’s side. He was by no means a surrogate father (especially since she and her father were on much better terms), but the runt felt safe in his presnce. But now Kiddo was gone. Never to return. Kyra had spent all of her time hidden away, lying in a small cave deep in the mountains. She ventured out only to feed herself, and even those endeavors were as short as she could make them. She hadn’t attended the Zakur claim, therefore she was not part of Zakur. But she couldn’t bring herself to leave the Oriens. What if Kiddo returned? He would be cross if she simply left her pack, wouldn’t he? Deep down, however, Kyra knew that her alpha was never going to return. Aries had vanished in the same manner, and she had never returned. The same was true for Kiddo. The runt knew she had to leave, to escape before the Zakur wolves found her. While they may have taken her in as Kiddo had, she was too frightened to bring herself to stand before them. They would judge her, as all who met her did, and she wouldn’t be able to handle the rejection. So, with a heavy heart and heavier footsteps, Kyra began walking. Kamari was not far from the Oriens, and her father had promised her a place in Descai should she ever need it. But what if her joining brought upon the pack’s demise? The idea frightened her even more than meeting with the Zakur wolves. The look her father would give her... A shudder ran down the femme’s spine, causing her fur to stand up on end. She had just managed to mend the wounds between herself and her father. She didn’t want anything to destroy that newfound relationship. The runt paused at the border of the Oriens and Kamari. Even if it was only temporary, she needed to find a place to stay for a while. To wait while she got back on her feet. Tike was supposed to be part of Descai as well, wasn’t he? Perhaps she could mend those wounds some more as well, establish a proper brother-sister relationship with him. But would the others accept her? Would her father be ashamed to call her his daughter? He was so powerful and perfect, where she was a half-blind runt. Maybe he had said those nice things to her to simply make her open up to him. Perhaps he didn’t really wish for her to be at his side. Yet the runt soon found herself further and further in Kamari. Before she could stop herself, Kyra lifted her crown to the sky, calling out for her father. For Tike. For anyone. She was scared, alone, and hungry, and she wanted to feel the comfort of another. words:: Six-Hundred and Fifty-Nine tags:: Vorilye ooc:: She's so depressing DX |
